Content Marketing Lead

Remote • Full-Time

Position: Content Marketing Lead
Reports to: Head of Operations
Job Type: Full-Time (Mondays to Fridays, 35 hours per week)
Location: Remote (4-hour overlap with US EST & PST required)
Salary: $2700 – $3200 monthly

What You’ll Do

You’ll be in charge of developing and executing SEO & Digital PR-aligned content strategies, leading freelance writers to deliver on-brand, client-focused content, and providing performance insights to guide strategic decisions.

Now, here’s the most exciting part: as the industry evolves—driven by AI advances, stricter E-E-A-T requirements, and a focus on high-impact storytelling—we’re revamping our Content department. You’ll step into the ready-made blueprint your predecessor left and act as the product owner of our new content offering: operationalize and launch the core processes with all the creative freedom that brings, and be the one to land our first standalone sale.

Your Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy Development. Craft and own a comprehensive, SEO-aligned content strategy that maps to business objectives and client goals
  • Brand & Client Alignment. Ensure all content consistently reflects brand guidelines and meets client expectations
  • Performance Reporting & Insights. Track content performance using GA4, GSC, and deliver quarterly reports with strategic recommendations
  • Workflow & Budget Optimization. Manage a monthly content budget and streamline production processes to boost profitability
  • Freelancer Management. Recruit, onboard, and nurture freelance writers. Maintain clear briefs, set deadlines, and provide feedback to ensure consistency and timeliness

Preferred Skills

  • 4+ years in content marketing, SEO, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of turning strategy into measurable growth
  • Strategic mindset & critical thinking—you ask “why?” and surface insights, not just output metrics
  • Hands-on SEO toolkit proficiency (Ahrefs and/or SEMrush) and analytics fluency (GA4 & Search Console)
  • Project management savvy, especially in ClickUp, to keep complex workflows on track
  • Strong editorial judgment—you ensure E-E-A-T quality without writing every word yourself
  • Stakeholder management & communication excellence, presenting data-driven ideas confidently to clients and leadership
  • Entrepreneurial spirit in an ever-evolving industry, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative

Benefits

  • 100% remote
  • Remote-work stipend
  • Truly unlimited paid-time-off (PTO)
  • U.S. holidays & random days off
  • Flexible start/end hours
  • Work-from-home stipend
  • The pleasure of working with a close-knit circle of like-minded individuals who love to laugh, make dad jokes and enjoy the ‘occasional’ cocktail.
