Our Award-Winning Campaign

Unlocking Paws-itive Pet-tential

We’re proud to have our hard work recognized by the judges but watching our clients grow and thrive in the real reward. Our award-winning SEO campaign with Bond Vet represents the work we love to produce, and helping them grow and thrive has been incredibly satisfying.

Campaign Objectives

When our team first met with Bond Vet, they had two clinics open. They now have nine locations across NYC, with more to come every quarter. As one of the fastest-growing animal wellness providers in the New York City area, they needed a communicative SEO agency to partner with their in-house marketing team.

Their primary objectives were to improve visibility for their new clinics, increase organic traffic, and, most importantly, boost conversions. Specifically, they wanted to achieve top five rankings for top keywords for all locations.

They also wanted to be seen as a thought leader and authoritative resource in the animal wellness industry through an effective content marketing strategy. And, of course, increasing the number of search-driven online bookings was a primary goal.

The Challenges

Our client was in growth mode but needed to boost their local search visibility to justify moving forward with their new clinic locations. Unfortunately, their website was also plagued with technical SEO issues that were affecting rankings in search.

Information architecture on Bond Vet’s site was highly disorganized, which was preventing easy browsing and crawlability. They also lacked a strategic content creation strategy to attract local and national pet lovers.

Our Strategy

Our team started by analyzing Bond Vet’s current keyword performance, locating opportunities, and defining a keyword strategy to increase traffic. Then, we helped their in-house writing team develop a keyword-targeted content marketing campaign that resonates with local and national pet owners.

We set out to increase Bond Vet’s local visibility by creating optimized clinic location pages and optimizing their Google My Business listings. We also built local links via Digital PR to showcase Bond Vet as a great local brand every pet owner in the area should know about.

A competitive analysis helped us locate organic search opportunities paying off for Bond Vet’s primary competitors. We also dug into Bond Vet’s existing content to improve crawlability and boost rankings.

We developed a strong on-page SEO strategy using target keywords to improve their relevancy and trust in the pet wellness industry. In addition, our technical SEO audit helped locate backend issues that could negatively impact their rankings in search.

Then, we rounded out our efforts by achieving backlinks in industry-specific publications to build trust, drive more national traffic, and boost off-page SEO.

The Results

We are proud to say that Bond Vet has seen dramatic monthly growth in organic traffic and conversions at all six of its current locations. Overall, our strategy has led to a 2,111% increase in organic traffic and a 2,520% increase in page one Google rankings.

This positive movement has resulted in more quality leads for Bond Vet, translating into more bookings for their telehealth and in-clinic animal wellness services across all nine locations. This growth has been essential for building brand awareness as Bond Vet continues to expand throughout NYC.

Why We Chose to Enter the US Search Awards

Old school SEO agencies that fail to evolve and provide meaningful and measurable results are plaguing the SEO industry and giving it a bad name. These agencies are more talk than execution, promising the world but delivering nothing but failed expectations.

At Break the Web, we make SEO easy to integrate, accessible, and measurable for in-house marketing teams of B2C brands of all sizes. We pride ourselves on transparency and provide our clients with frameworks and timelines that provide realistic expectations and produce measurable results.

We pride ourselves on offering clients a new agency experience that delivers what we promise. Entering and winning the US Search Awards proves the value of SEO and demonstrates the possibilities of starting and growing a thriving business in today’s challenging economy.

About the US Search Awards

Hosted by We Are Search, the US Search Awards are one of the most prestigious digital marketing awards in the United States. They celebrate the best of the best in SEO, PPC, and Content Marketing.

The awards have been around for almost a decade and receive hundreds of entries from SEO agencies of all sizes every year. The competition is stiff and represents the most creative, innovative, and authentic people in search today.

The event attracts only the most talented people in digital marketing. Winners are selected based on honesty, integrity, customer satisfaction, and of course, outstanding results. The Awards are judged by industry experts and granted on merit, not popularity.

Entrants must demonstrate clear objectives and creative implementation, as well as tangible evidence of their success. In addition, the judges are looking for agencies with proven track records of strategy development, execution, teamwork, and accurate results for their clients.

This year, there were 43 categories to compete in, encompassing a wide range of industries from health to eCommerce. Winners in each category must demonstrate forward-thinking approaches specific to their industry through the creative use of content, technical implementation, and innovative use of data.

As the winner in the category Best Use Of Search – B2C (SEO) in 2021, Break the Web received recognition for an outstanding SEO campaign that successfully enhanced the visibility of a website in the B2C space.

Wrapping Up

Entering, making the shortlist, and winning the Best Use of Search award in 2021 proves that a small but mighty team from all across the globe can make a difference in the marketing industry.

It has allowed us to showcase the value of SEO and shine the spotlight on our client’s success. Bond Vet has proven that any business with a unique approach can become a star in the highly competitive New York City marketplace.

Winning this award speaks volumes about the quality, innovation, and teamwork at Break the Web. We look forward to continuing our outstanding work and taking home the award year after year.

Remember, we’re here to help in-house teams overcome the challenges of implementing an effective SEO strategy.
